Dr. Lin contributes to NurseKnowsNurse™ by supporting population-based research design and evidence evaluation for practitioner-led health initiatives. Dr. Lin is a physician (MD) with advanced training in epidemiology and public health, holding a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Harvard University. His academic background combines clinical medicine with rigorous population-level research methods, including cohort studies, survival analysis, and causal inference approaches.
During his doctoral training, Dr. Lin completed extended visiting research training in the United States, including formal study in epidemiology and biostatistics at Harvard University and advanced biostatistics training at the University of Washington. His work emphasizes applying epidemiologic methods to understand disease risk, progression, and outcomes using large-scale human data.
His clinical and research interests include urologic and renal conditions, cancer-related outcomes, and the application of public health and epidemiologic approaches to inform prevention, early detection, and evidence-based clinical decision-making.
