ABOUT

Our Identity

Nurse Knows Nurse DAO LLC, operating as NurseKnowsNurse™, is a nurse-led professional organization founded by experienced healthcare practitioners and researchers from academic and clinical institutions.

NurseKnowsNurse™ functions as a practitioner-led professional ecosystem that supports accountable, project-based collaboration across clinical, research, and technical domains.

NurseKnowsNurse™ provides shared organizational infrastructure that enables healthcare professionals to initiate, lead, and govern collaborative projects grounded in real-world clinical and research practice.

NurseKnowsNurse™ is not a social network, training platform, or consulting firm.

Our Origins

NurseKnowsNurse™ grew out of a shared recognition among frontline clinicians and researchers.

Healthcare professionals are frequently invited to participate in research and innovation projects, yet they are rarely positioned to define the agenda, lead initiatives, or retain accountability for outcomes. NurseKnowsNurse™ was established to address this gap by centering practitioners in leadership, governance, and responsibility.

Organizational Model

NurseKnowsNurse™ operates as a practitioner-led, project-based organization.

Initiatives are initiated and led by practicing nurses, clinicians, and researchers. Collaboration is organized around clearly defined projects with identified leadership, contributors, and scope. NurseKnowsNurse™ does not offer courses, certifications, or packaged programs. It functions as an organizational framework that supports sustained professional collaboration and accountable project execution.

Governance and Accountability

NurseKnowsNurse™ maintains documented governance structures that define membership pathways, leadership roles, and decision-making processes.

Participation is earned through demonstrated contribution. Leadership roles carry explicit responsibility for project oversight and outcomes. This approach supports transparency, continuity, and traceability, consistent with expectations for federally funded research and collaborative initiatives.

Areas of Work

Through NurseKnowsNurse™, members collaborate on initiatives that may include practice-informed research and knowledge generation, clinician-led innovation and pilot studies, and cross-disciplinary collaboration with data scientists, engineers, and domain experts. NurseKnowsNurse™ also supports international and cross-regional initiatives through registered entities in the United States and Hong Kong.

Each initiative is overseen by designated project leads and supported by contributing members with relevant expertise.

Community and Membership

NurseKnowsNurse™ brings together registered nurses, physicians, researchers, and allied professionals with advanced training and real-world clinical or research experience.

Membership is not automatic. It develops through sustained engagement and professional contribution, aligned with NurseKnowsNurse™’s principles of practice-grounded collaboration and transparent governance.

Our Commitment

NurseKnowsNurse™ is committed to grounding collaboration in real clinical and research settings, supporting nurse leadership in research, innovation, and decision-making, and maintaining transparency in organizational governance and project structure.

Meaningful collaboration is shaped by structure, accountability, and shared responsibility.

Looking Forward

As healthcare and research challenges continue to grow in complexity, NurseKnowsNurse™ seeks to serve as a durable organizational model in which healthcare professionals are positioned to lead, govern, and build collaborative initiatives with integrity and accountability.
