Membership

Participation and Engagement

Membership at NurseKnowsNurse™ reflects opportunities for engagement, collaboration, and contribution aligned with the organization’s mission. It is designed to support a diverse community of nursing professionals, researchers, collaborators, and partners who share an interest in advancing nurse-led, public-interest initiatives.

Membership does not imply formal employment, fiduciary responsibility, or financial obligation. Participation may take different forms depending on individual interests, expertise, and the needs of specific programs or initiatives.

Who May Participate

Membership opportunities may be available to individuals and organizations with relevant professional, academic, or community-based experience, including but not limited to nursing, health research, education, policy, technology, and innovation.

Participation is guided by shared values, mutual respect, and alignment with the organization’s mission, rather than by payment, status, or credentials alone.

Forms of Engagement

Members may engage with NurseKnowsNurse™ through a range of activities, which may include:

  • Contributing expertise to research or program development

  • Participating in working groups or collaborative initiatives

  • Supporting educational, advisory, or community-oriented activities

  • Engaging in dialogue around governance, ethics, and responsible innovation

The specific scope and nature of engagement may vary by initiative and stage of development.

Fees and Participation Boundaries

Membership does not require routine fees or dues and does not confer automatic decision-making authority, voting rights, or access to confidential information unless explicitly defined within a specific initiative or collaboration.

Participation is based on transparency, responsible engagement, and respect for ethical, regulatory, and organizational boundaries.
